James Cambell has an impressive biography; having performed with many of the worlds best respected orchestras, and having had many new works written especially for him. This latest CD feaures a Schubert arrangement by Brian Newbould that was specially commissioned by James Campbell for clarinet and string quartet. This album, featuring music by Schubert, Stravinsky and Mozart, is the fourth and penultimate recording between The Naim Label and the Allegri String quartet with its current line up.
