The Duo 'Dirks und Wirtz' has been distinguished at international competitions, with amongst others, the sponsor prize of the 1st EUROPEAN GUITAR AWARD 2006. Reentko Dirks and Daniel Wirtz met for the first time in the year 2000 at the beginning of their studies 'GUITAR WORLDMUSIC' with Thomas Fellow in Dresden, Germany. In the same year they formed the duo 'Dirks und Wirtz'. Their first joint CD 'Danza non Danza' is the result of years of influence and experience of concert life which they document in the 14 pieces.
