Northern Norway’s most experienced film creator has produced a film called “Heftig og begeistret” (Cool and Crazy), portraying a small fishing community out in the exposed ocean mouth of Northern Norway, where a vigorous local men’s choir reflects life in all its facets, in all kinds of weather. The movie won the price for BEST FILM at the filmfestival in Gothenburg, Sweden. And of a population of 4 million people, over 500.000 Norwegians have already seen the movie. At this years Cannes Film Festival companies in Finland, Denmark, Island, England, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Japan, Canada and USA Danmark and USA have already signed agreements to show the film in their countries, and far more contries are intersested in making an agreement.
