SCHUBERT - Symphony No 5 in B flat, D483 MENDELSSOHN - Symphony No 4 in A, Italian, Op 90 Naim are pleased to present the second album to be released on the Naim Label featuring the world famous violinist and conductor, Iona Brown. Iona has worked extensively with the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra, impressing the Royal family so much with her talents that she was awarded the Knight of First Class Order of Merit. The music on this disc is a wonderful showcase for both the orchestra and also the two quintessentially romantic composers whose music has been recorded for this disc. This live recording was made by Ken Christianson during one of the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra’s concerts. This wonderful album is a winning combination of musical and technical talent.
