This recording occurred during the Morgenland Festival in Osnabruck, Germany on August 20, 2006. The Morgenland Festival Osnabrück 2006 had Iran as its main theme. It was opened by the first ever concert of the Tehran Symphony Orchestra in Germany. Under its conductor, Nader Mashayekhi, the TSO played works by Riahi, Mashayekhi, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky and Frank Zappa. Deutschlandradio Kultur relayed the Osnabrück concert live on radio. This disc is the live recording of that historic performance.
