Pujol is maybe the most prestigious argentine classical guitarist and composer. The most recognized interpreter, composer and teacher from this country.
Pujol feels comfortable around rioplatense music in general; he works on the guitar sound and releases the melancholy of classicism to transform tango into an approachable language.
Both classic and local: a real rioplatense repertoire. Tangos played by Máximo Pujol are exquisite for those who know them and a gem for those who are not familiar with the music of Buenos Aires.
A real tango lesson: to get to know tango starting from Piazzolla or to travel down the opposite direction and get all the way to his teachers and predecessors: Troilo, Salgán and Bardi among others.
The universality of the language of tango, without tarnishing it with artificial accessories and always doing it from a local point of view.
