A release long awaited by the tango journalists and fans in our country and all over the world. The great bandoneon maestro is once again involved in a new musical project, this time with the excellent guitarist Hugo Rivas. After 12 years without recording a complete studio album with an ensemble, Leopoldo Federico recorded Sentido Unico with Hugo Rivas. They have both written the arrangements. Hugo Rivas, 34 years old, son and nephew of guitarists, was already playing with Julio Pane (bandoneon) when he was 15 years old. As time went by, he performed many times with Néstor Marconi, Ernesto Baffa, Dino Saluzzi and Rubén Juárez. In August 2006 he performed with Leopoldo Federico at the Teatro Colón. Federico was celebrating the 50 th anniversary conducting his orchestra, and they played the duet written for the ages by the great maestro and Roberto Grela. Today they introduce themselves as a musical item.
